Part Exchange helps sales at Highwood Hill get a move on
Property developers are acutely aware that their success in selling new units is intrinsically linked to the health of the overall housing market, since many of their customers will first need to sell their existing home before completing on their new purchase. This can be frustrating for both parties, particularly if there are fall-throughs or contract delays.
For this reason, many developers are now increasingly turning to Part Exchange providers, such as Silverbridge Properties, to help them gain greater control over the sales process. PX provides the developer’s customer with a guaranteed purchase which removes the uncertainties that a sale on the open market can sometimes bring.
Saxon Weald, a leading provider of extra care housing across Sussex and Hampshire, has only recently started using PX but already firmly believes that it will become an increasingly important sales tool to help them turnover their stock.
Chris Maidwell, Senior Sales Manager at Saxon Weald said, “With the noticeable slowdown in the property market, we were alive to the fact that sales were being stalled and that there must be a solution available to remedy this”. The company is now partnering with Silverbridge Properties on its most current retirement development at Highwood Mill in Horsham, West Sussex.
“I’m certain that we will soon see the benefits”, says Chris. “The demand for units at Highwood Mill is still very strong but now, armed with PX, we expect to see sales transact much faster, and without having to compromise our margins”, added Chris.
